For some reason, so many of my memories are connected to food. From all the church potluck dinners and all the wonderful people that made those precious recipes, to my Grannies kitchen in South Texas to my Grandad and his shopping trips to every grocery store in town with his coupons. Some of my most precious memories can be brought back with a whiff of Mexican vanilla or the smell of good ole' Texas mesquite wood smoke. I just decided to share my recipes and memories with you. In the hope that you will enjoy them and be intentional about making memories with your family. Not everything has to be about food, but the way I look at it is this - If one of the first things we are going to do when we get to heaven is sit down with Jesus and have a feast, well - then it must not be all bad!
P.S. I am not good at grammar and spelling soooo - if you find a misspelled word or bad grammar - DEAL WITH IT!
If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified , and it is with your mouth that you confess your sin and are saved. Anyone that trusts in Jesus will never be put to shame. Romans 10:9-11
